How to choose the right celebrant

I recommend hiring a celebrant that fits both you and your partner's personalities and energy. This is important so your ceremony will be as reflective and indicative of you as a couple.  Some people are more conservative, so choose a celebrant that will stick to a more traditional approach! I personally looked for a celebrant who displayed humour as their main characteristic, because that's what me and my husband are about. I wanted someone who radiated genuineness and positivity - in that style, the humour readily flows.

Sometimes you will make up your mind purely by looking at a website, sometimes you will need to meet the celebrant in person and some couples choose the first available celebrant they find on google! Whatever floats your boat.  Your celebrant is kind of your mascot for your wedding day.  Go with your gut!
